What is Family?

In my opinion a family can be defined as a group of people who are related by blood , marriage , adoption or some other factors. 

There are 3 main types of family

1. Nuclear Family 
2. Single Parent Family 
3. Extended Family

• Nuclear Family

 

Nuclear family consist of parents and their child or children whether their own or adopted living under one roof.

• Single Parent Family

Single Parent family consist of one parent heading the family usually a woman but men also head such families.

• Extended Family 

The extended family consist of three or more generations living under the same roof or in close proximity with each other.
